Ravi Gopalan, Founder & CTO
Ravi is a founder of Binary Fountain and defines the technology roadmap for their product suites. As an accomplished senior information technology manager, he has over 15 years of experience developing solutions and executing strategies that capitalize on and promote the optimal use of enterprise-level emerging technologies.
Ravi received a Bachelor of Engineering from the IIT, Madras, and holds a Master of Science and Ph.D. from Carnegie Mellon University and has published over 20 articles in recognized scientific publications. Ravi received a patent on the Neuro-Linguistic Processing technologies.
Jitendra Shirolkar, EVP of Product Development
Jitendra Shirolkar serves as Binary Fountain’s executive vice president of product development. He brings more than 18 years of experience in product development and management. In this role, he leads the product management and UX design efforts. He is passionate about building high performing, innovative and aesthetically pleasing products.
Prior to Binary Fountain, Jitendra served as the Vice President of Software Engineering at MicroStrategy, Inc. He was responsible for the MicroStrategy Web and Mobile technology teams. He also led the initiative for building MicroStrategy’s Mobile Loyalty Platform.
Jitendra holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Brigham Young University and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Bombay.
Guru Mandavia, VP of Engineering
Guru Mandavia serves as Binary Fountain’s vice president of engineering. He comes from a deep healthcare background with experience on both consumer and enterprise environments. In this role, he oversees the engineering, security and network operations for Binary Fountain. He is passionate about building and leading high performing engineering teams to solve healthcare’s biggest challenges.
Prior to Binary Fountain, Guru served as the Vice President of Engineering at Remedy Health Media.
Guru holds a MS in Computer Science from American University and a B.E. in Electronics and Communication from Gujarat University.
Sunil Kumar, Head of Development
Sunil has over 18 years of experience in software product development, software services delivery and has led large development initiatives for multinational organizations in the US and India. His expertise includes solution design, systems architecture, project management and resource management (with P&L responsibility).
He was previously Director of Product Development for Dow Jones’ Licensing Services and as Director – Delivery for Zafin Labs, Sunil as been leading the loyalty solutions delivery team.
Sunil holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Engineering from Bangalore University, INDIA.
Licia Salice-Jarisch, SVP of Finance
Licia is responsible for the finance and accounting functions, investor relations, human resources, procurement and cash management.
Formerly Licia was the Treasurer of Vubiquity, the largest global provider of multiplatform video services and was instrumental in securing VC seed financing. Prior to Vubiquity, Licia served in various leadership positions at Intelsat, the leading provider of satellite services worldwide, most recently as the Director of Finance and Business Planning for the video media business unit.
Licia received her Master of Science in Economics from the London School of Economics, and she is a CFA® charterholder.
Andrew Rainey, EVP of Strategy & Corporate Development
Andrew was one of the first hires at Binary Fountain and leads the management and growth of sales and business development, where he is responsible for developing and executing business strategies for identifying, qualifying, winning new business and building strategic partnerships. He brings years of sales, marketing and business development experience and success with information technology products and services across multiple verticals including healthcare, multifamily residential, government, and aerospace and defense.
Andrew is a frequent speaker at industry events and is a co-author of the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society’s (HIMSS) book “Applying Social Media Technologies in Healthcare Environments”. Andrew is a high-energy professional with a passion for growing early stage businesses and working with innovative technologies.
Prior to joining Binary Fountain, he helped grow OCR Services into one of the leading SaaS providers of global trade compliance solutions in the aerospace and defense industry. Andrew holds a Bachelor of Science in consumer economics and leadership from the University of Delaware.
Aaron Clifford, SVP of Marketing
Aaron serves as Binary Fountain’s senior vice president of marketing. He brings more than 15 years of experience in the healthcare industry. In this role, he leads all marketing functions, including brand strategy, demand generation, product marketing and customer advocacy services.
Prior to Binary Fountain, Aaron served as the senior director of digital marketing solutions for HCA, one of the nation’s leading providers of healthcare services. He created the vision for the organization’s enterprise-wide reputation management program and oversaw the management of 800 websites servicing 171 hospitals, 119 free standing surgery centers, 830 physician clinics and multiple business units across the healthcare system.
Aaron received his BS in Management Information Systems from Trevecca Nazarene University and an MBA from Lipscomb University. He is also a graduate of the IT&S Emerging Leaders Program and was the 2013 Nashville Technology Council’s Social Media Strategist of the Year.
Adit Parasuram, VP of Business Development
As Vice President of Business Development, Adit is responsible for establishing strategic channel partners, evaluating growth opportunities and international market development.
Prior to Binary Fountain, Adit was Sr. Director of Project Development at Vubiquity, the largest global provider of multi-platform video services, where he was responsible for deploying strategic projects, fostering relationships and was instrumental in their expansion into the international marketplace.
Prior to Vubiquity, Adit served in various sales and operational positions at British Telecom, including the Global Telecom Markets division and Broadcast Services Unit. Previously, Adit joined Intelsat, the leading provider of satellite services worldwide, where he was responsible for sales operations in the Media & Entertainment division.
Helen McPherson, VP of Operations
Helen leads operations across Binary Fountain including implementation of new initiatives, products, and services. She also oversees the performance of the Customer Success team comprised of customer onboarding, product support, and account management.
Helen received an M.B.A. from the Johns Hopkins Carey Business School with a focus on healthcare management. While at Hopkins, she advised early stage companies on technology commercialization and alternative revenue streams.
Previously, Helen led international health programs in Africa and Asia for the Clinton Health Access Initiative. She co-authored an article in the New England Journal of Medicine about a new approach to foreign aid and global partnerships in Rwanda.
She earned a B.A. with high honors from Brown University.
Michael Grant, VP of Sales & Marketing
Michael Grant serves as Binary Fountain’s Vice President of Sales and Marketing. He brings more than 18 years’ of successful sales and marketing leadership experience across early stage and growth organizations. Michael is responsible for leading, developing and executing sales and marketing strategies for the overall revenue growth at Binary Fountain. Michael has held sales and executive sales leadership roles at cloud and IT organizations including IBM, Verizon iland, Virtacore and Hosting.
Michael received his BA from Boston College and attended Loyola’s MBA program between 2007-2008.
Kenneth Brooks, Senior Director of Marketing
Kenneth Brooks serves as Binary Fountain’s senior director of marketing. He brings more than 15 years’ of high-tech marketing experience, including 6 years in healthcare technology, to the company. In his role, he leads the company’s marketing department, driving brand awareness and demand generation.
Prior to Binary Fountain, Kenneth worked at GetWellNetwork, a patient engagement solutions provider, where he led their demand generation programs. Previously he served as director of marketing communication at Social Solutions. He’s also managed marketing communications and digital marketing efforts for Artifact Software, Razorfish and Avatech Solutions.
Kenneth received a BA in English Literature from Framingham State University.
